Rinse your blueberries well
Heat the blueberries, sweetener and lemon juice in a heavy bottomed saucepan on a medium heat, stirring often
Once the blueberries begin to cook down, you can either mash your fruit or use an immersion blender to get a smooth fruit mixture
Add the chia seeds and mix well to incorporate thoroughly
Pour your mixture into a mason jar or your container of choice
Allow your jam to cool completely before putting it into the fridge
Your jam will set well within a few hours and will be ready to use on toast, scones, or whatever makes you happy
